Well I'm back at it! Today was the first day I went out jogging since before I found out I was pregnant with Libby! since I was having problems with asthma shortly after I started getting back into jogging, at the beginning of the year, I had to stop jogging until the inhaler I was using kicked in, but then my little surprise came along and I dismissed the idea of jogging for awhile.
Now that I'm 2 months postpartum, I figured now is a good time to get my butt back out there and go jogging! and after 10-11 months of not jogging, ....Wow! I'm outta shape! ;) I didn't get very far at first but I did go farther then I thought I would! so I'm pretty pleased with myself, even if there was more walking than jogging! I'm sticking with the same route I did last time which was just over 2 miles but once I reach that milestone I'd like to keep pushing myself.
I haven't lost all the baby weight yet so I'm sad/disgusted to say I'm at 208. I was down to 197 pre-pregnancy and lost a few pounds in the beginning but gained it all back and then some. but anywho, ....I'm determined to lose weight! My goal weight is 150! I know I can do it!
Not only is my resolution to lose weight/ get into shape and exercise regularly, so I can look and feel healthier, but to get the recommended amount of fruits and veggies in each day. I've been doing pretty good the last week on getting them with the exception of the last 2 days, but we all know how our "diets" do around the holiday's. I can't wait to see the pounds melt off. I'll be updating my blog to help keep me more accountable in reaching my goals!
Sounds like a good goal! Wishing you the best of luck in achieving it! (We believe in you!)
ReplyDeleteAnd GO YOU, getting out there and jogging! It's COLD out there! And I'm a VERY lazy person, too. So I give you extra props in this! ^_^
Thanks Allanna! and yes it's chilly out there! No matter when I go jogging I can only wear the knee high pants/shorts and a tank top, otherwise I get over heated. Made for chilly walking last night! but it felt good to get out there and exercise!
